Formations are a series of animated videos which are displayed as projections on infinite loop. These dense multi-human structures hover in a minimal displacement. Highly organized shapes and computerized choreography of filmed human forms reference the cooperative chaos theory of flocking birds and the digitization of the body and its relation to physical space. This a human community maybe yearns for other modes of being together as creatures on earth. They practice and experiment using a clunky humanist technology which animates the group into mimicking the collective intelligence and sociality of (non-human) animals.
