I am an artist, gardener, and arts organizer based in San Francisco. My social sculptures, videos, books, gardens, and walks explore geological empathy, mimicry, and the creation of place-based memory through somatic practices. Over the years, I have worked on projects that explore embodied practices of memory-building, disappearance, becoming, and mimicry — as a practice of intimate survival between ourselves and our ecosystems. Most recently I’ve been focused on a multimedia project exploring the geological longview of the source to sea journey of San Francisco’s sand and studies of meadow mimesis at Vesper Meadow Education Program.

My works have been shared at B_tour Festival in Berlin; on a Signal Fire Residency in the Mt. Hood wilderness; and at Southern Exposure, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Somarts, Di Rosa and the Headlands Center for the Arts. In 2022, I was a resident at Lucid Art Foundation during their year of climate change exploration. I hold an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute as well as various certificates and trainings in ecological restoration and gardening.
