One time, Rock Station was set up all day on a ferry boat, en route to the Gulf Islands in British Columbia. Visitors to Rock Station were encouraged to select a rock in exchange for sharing stories and data about where they would take and deposit their specimen.

Then, this other time Rock Station led the Memory Rock Workshop onsite at the Hammock Residency. Visitors were invited to make rock-like forms in clay from remembered topographies, stones, geographies and other place based memories. Stories were shared around the fire.
