I am currently/slowly working on a video project which will performatively trace sand & sediment on its long geological migration routes from mountains, down rivers, to the ocean/beaches, and on to all the entanglements and interruptions faced once geological processes intersect with the human-built environment. Infrastructural interruptions like: river re-routing, dams and mining sand for concrete production will all be explored in this performative video work.

The geopathic workers will perform rituals for getting to know geological systems better. The geopathic workers will perform rituals for looking at land as an autonomous friend and not a commodifiable resource to grab at.

Its coming soon. I am looking for scientists or citizens who hold knowledge about sand, rivers, sediment transport. I am also looking for embodiment pros (ie/dancers), hikers, and kayakers to help me realize and imagine this project!
